First Day of School

Tuesday was the first day back to school for the kids. Matt was being grumpy about the pictures because he fell down in the wet grass and got his pants wet. Sad trombone.

But he really was excited to start 1st grade...see?!

I love walking to school all together on the first day, I only wish I could keep up.

Both kids are in Spanish immersion this year, and they really like their teachers. As for me, it's really quiet around here while they are at school. I have to listen to a lot of podcasts and pandora so I don't get too lonely.

Lazy Last Days of Summer

There's only one week until school starts again. It has been a really hot, but relaxing summer. So nice to just have the kids around. And not have to worry about homework, packing lunches, and programs.

Why, yes, that is my belly poking out into this picture of our toes in the pool.

Matt and Anna have been loving Calvin and Hobbes lately.

Anna's Baptism Day

Anna was baptised last Saturday. It was an awesome day!

We had lots of good family and friends come to support her-Thanks guys!

After the baptism and after we were all stuffed with sugary carbohydrates, a few lucky people got to ride the go-kart. This is Kent's sister Tara right before she ALMOST crashed into a tree! Fun!

Go-Kart Success!

After months and months of gathering materials, cutting, sanding, and staining...the go-kart is finished! This was the kid's first time seeing it all put together.

Once your ride is over, you have to push/pull it back up the hill.

So fun! I took these photos last Saturday, and the kids have been riding the go-kart all over the park everyday since then.

Balloon Festival

Yesterday we all got up early to go to the Freedom Festival Balloon Festival. It was really fun! You get to walk around and watch as all the balloons are inflated, then one by one they take off!
