Summer Stuff

Just a few pictures of what our summer has been like so far:

Matt and Anna rode ponies at the Saratoga Splash.
And they got some fancy balloons. We love the Saratoga Splash because all this fun stuff is in the park right behind our house!

Playing Catch Up

Whew! It has been a non-lazy crazy month of May! Here's a few highlights:

Matthew turned 5! It was a great day. Grandpa and Grandma Davis came over as well as some aunts an uncles to eat his dinosaur birthday cake.


I ran my third Ogden marathon. While I was disappointed in my time, it was a beautiful day and I was so glad my cheering squad came to support me-thanks guys!
Anna and Matt participated in the kids K race. That's my sister Sarah running with them since I was NOT running one more step that day!
We did it!
Friday was Anna's last day of 1st grade. She has done so well this year and has really loved her teacher, Mrs. Penrod.

Matt's 5th Birthday Party

We had Matt's 5th birthday party yesterday, and I think everyone had fun!
Probably the coolest part was making the erupting volcano's! Yeah for baking soda and vinegar!

We also had a dino egg hunt, dinosaur freeze tag and a pinata which I did not get any pictures of because they smashed it so fast! (You'd think if you spend ten bucks on something it could entertain 8 kids longer than three minutes!) Anna was the only girl at the party, and as you can see, she's really excited about that.

Bridals&Groomals

My little bro Danny and his fiance Carissa are getting married in a little under 2 weeks! They wanted to take a few pre-wedding pictures so they could enjoy the actual wedding day.

Spring Break in MT

We had a really fun week in Montana with the "far away Grandma and Grandpa". Here's a few pictures from the trip. The kids helped Grandpa plant some onions in his garden.

We visited some pet buffalo.

And fed some ducks at the duck pond.

Wedding Quilt

For my birthday this year my Mom gave me my completed wedding quilt! I picked the pattern and fabrics out years ago, and she did a beautiful job on it! I am so happy to have it, and am amazed at all the work that went into making it.


Check out the quilting! She did this on her sewing machine. This quilt is so huge, it must have taken forever!
