Here's some pictures of some stuff we've been doing!
We had a neighborhood BBQ in our back yard last week-fun and delicious!
Last Saturday we went to check out the Kennecott copper mine. Matt's favorite thing was the minerals you could look at under the microscope.
Anna had to fill out a worksheet about her visit to get a girl scout badge.
Big hole. Big trucks with big tires. Cool!
We have been noticing a lot of aphids on some of our trees lately, so Kent came home with a few thousand lady bugs in a bag. The lady bugs were going crazy crawling all over the trees. We will see if this solves our aphid problem.
2nd to last day of school. The 2nd graders had an "Author's Fair" where they got to show off all the stories they have been working on all year. This is Anna's best friend. They have been friends since they were two years old!
After the Author's fair, they had an egg drop. Each kid had to bring a raw egg encased in something to keep it from breaking when it was dropped off the school roof.
Anna's made it out un-cracked!
Last day of school they have a dance festival. All the grades preform a dance for the parents. It's really fun to watch everyone because the kids really get into it. I couldn't get a good shot of Matt's Dance, but here he is coming onto the field with his class.
Anna's class did a dance to the Jackson 5's "ABC" song.
She was awesome!
After the final school bell rang we had a neighborhood water party.

wow! so much fun! Our summer won't be nearly as fun.
The picture of anna and her classmates doing the "Toyota!" jump may become a classic when she gets older
