Spring Break Road Trip Day 6

Breakfast at Coco's diner. They had really good hot chocolate. I should know because I ordered hot chocolate at almost every diner place we ate.

Disneyland! These pictures don't really show it, but Disneyland was very crowded that day. We still had tons of fun. I didn't get to go on many rides, but I had fun looking in all the shops!

Anna didn't want to go on Star Tours with everyone else, so we got to go on the horse drawn trolley and the carousel together.

This sword in the stone picture is actually the last shot I took on the trip! The last two days were driving home days. I can't believe we managed to get to all these places and back again in just seven days! Such a fun trip. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa McLean for coming with us to make all these memories, and torturing us with your video camera!

Spring Break Road Trip Day 5

This day at Sea World was one of our favorites.

The kids and I sat in the "soak zone" while Kent and Grandma and Grandpa stayed dry and took these pictures.

Anna and Matt got picked by one of the trainers to help with the show. They demonstrated the splash sign for everyone in the audience.

And then we all got splashed-a lot.

It was a really awesome experience for the kids!

We got so wet we had to go to the car and change into dry clothes.

The sea lion show was really funny!

We spent about an hour just watching these dolphins play. Anna and I even had one come up right in front of us so we were face to face with him!

The last thing we did was go on a few rides. After Sea world we drove down to Anaheim to get ready for a day at Disneyland.

Spring Break Road Trip Day 4

Day 4 Started out a little rainy as we headed to Legoland. Here's Kent with his dream wife. Not only is she made out of legos, but because she's permanently stuck to the ground, unable to spend any money!

This was Anna's favorite ride-she went twice in a row!

We're gonna need a bigger boat.

We also went to the San Diego Zoo where Matt mooched a jacket from Grandma.

We went on the double decker bus tour and Kent and I got pooped on by a bird! Luckily I had a stolen hotel towel in my bag so we could clean up.

Awesome outdoor moving sidewalk.

We ended the day with a ride on the skyfari tram ride.

Spring Break Road Trip Day 3

After a long day of driving across California, we made it to Carlsbad and checked into our motel and then headed for the beach. This was our kids first time at the beach, and they loved it!

Everyone had fun chasing and being chased by the waves.

Matt got caught off guard by a wave, but Kent was quick to rescue him.

They both got soaked!

Perfect weather for playing at the beach!

We were all pretty hungry after playing, so after we got all the sand off we went to Benihana's which was right next to our motel. Our chef entertained us while he prepared yummy food!
